Another example: a photo of the Sedan crater at the NTS is accompanied with the following text: "Underground nuclear tests often created gigantic craters on the surface of the ground". ![]() This is probably a reference to the stealth technology, but the bomber that this was applied to was the later B-2. However, I also spotted some factual errors! One example is the labelling of a photo of a B-1B bomber, which the museum claims was developed "in 1984" (in reality it certainly took much longer than a single year!) as a "bomber capable of eluding radar". – this section is more elaborate than the equivalent section in Hiroshima's museum. ![]() A comprehensive final section deals with the post-war developments of nuclear weapons, proliferation despite warnings, the Cold War, etc.
